The large companies who product products and services for sale rarely come into direct contact with their real customers, the ones who pick up their products in the supermarket rather than those of their competitors. And this is a problem because they must know what these consumers are thinking, so they can improve products and know which of their advertising is working.
This situation creates employment for professional marketing researchers, who get hired to measure consumer opinion and get the information these large companies depend on so much. The marketing researchers use surveys (almost all are made online, over the Internet now) to get answers. They send out thousands of surveys daily. And how do they get people to sit down and fill out the survey questionnaires? Easy. They pay them for their time and opinions!
That’s how you have the opportunity to participate in paid market research.
All right, how does one get started to get cash for surveys?
Well, to get paid you have to participate by filling out survey questionnaires. To get started you must first be invited to participate. To get invited you need to get your name, contact info and demographic info (age, gender, zip code, etc.) on file with the survey making people, the ones who handle the mechanics of sending out the surveys and tabulating the results.
There are over 700 of these survey makers in the U.S. and over 3000 worldwide. Some are better than others. Some are a LOT better! About 20% are top level, that only offer legitimate paid online surveys that pay well, pay on time and respect your privacy. The next 40% are second level, don’t pay as well but are still O.K. The lower 40% will just waste your time.
So how do you find the good survey makers?
You will want to join a paid survey membership site which maintains good lists of good survey makers. There are over 200 of these sites, some good, some bad, some terrible!
