How to Give a Perfect Wedding Speech

Irrespective of the variety of wedding celebration you are organizing, prospects are there will probably be some wedding speeches. These are traditional at most receptions and serve to keep the bride and groom in sight.  As a general rule, if you expect to have individuals talk at your wedding reception, make a list of who you expect to to speak and what order they will talk in.  

At every wedding, there are those wonderful wedding speeches which, although all different, convey to the guests something special to remember and feelings for and about the married couple If you go the traditional route and decide to have the best man make a speech, he should speak first and make a toast to the happy couple and the wedding party. 

Fathers of the bride also generally talk, and now we have extended families, both the father of the bride and the stepfather may wish to say some words. If the grooms father or mother wants to speak, they should be addresses about their son and why marrying his wife will make him a better person. A maid or matron of honor speech can incorporate things like for instance, how well she knows the groom, a funny or humorous tale about the pair and general thanks to the bridal group.

It’s unusual for the newlywed couple’s mothers to give wedding speeches but if they choose to do it it can be sentimental and moving for all. Remember this important point:  regardless of who is giving the speech, it should be short so others have a chance to talk. The bride, groom or wedding planner should write down the names and arrangement of the people who are making speeches or have a role in the wedding so everybody is aware of them.
