People must understand how to take advantage of internet marketing strategies and at the same time learn basic programming principles which can help them tweak and navigate websites. The combination of these two skills is important in keeping one abreast with the competition.
In using a step by step approach to training, the first important thing to remember is know the current competencies of your trainees. How expert are they when it comes to internet marketing and website development? What basic skills do they already know? This way, you can already easily trim down the subject matter and learning courses where you would be focusing on. After you have figured out what their competencies are, the next important thing for you to do is to set specific goals for the training. Create training objectives which you can use as a guide as you facilitate the session.
Keep in mind that a step by step approach to training requires closely monitoring the trainees’ progress. You need to take note of how they are taking the sessions and what current improvements are becoming more apparent as the training goes on. You should also keep in mind that training should be a gradual process of learning. You should not expect people to immediately learn what you are educating them. Give them time to absorb everything and understand how they can actually put to good use all of the things that have learned thus far.
